Applies To: College Coaches, Recruiting Coordinators, and Athletic Directors registering for access to the Showcase Athlete platform.

1. Eligibility

By creating a coach account on Showcase Athlete, you affirm and warrant that:

You are currently employed or officially affiliated with an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or sanctioned collegiate athletic organization.
You possess a valid institution-issued email address (typically ending in .edu) and/or you can provide supporting documentation that verifies your position as a coach, recruiter, or athletic director.
You are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into this agreement.

Showcase Athlete reserves the right to deny access to any individual who fails to meet these criteria.

2. Use of Athlete Information

You agree that:

All athlete profiles, highlight videos, statistics, and personal information accessed through Showcase Athlete are to be used exclusively for legitimate college athletic recruiting purposes.
You will not reproduce, redistribute, sell, license, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any athlete content for commercial gain or any purpose unrelated to athletic recruiting.
You will not use the platform to solicit, promote, or advertise services unrelated to recruiting, nor for any personal, political, or non-sports-related purposes.
Any attempt to contact athletes for purposes outside of formal recruitment (including personal, inappropriate, or unauthorized communication) is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

3. Confidentiality and Security

You agree to:

Keep all information obtained through the Showcase Athlete platform strictly confidential and protected from unauthorized use or disclosure.
Not share, transfer, or disclose your account credentials or access to any third party, including colleagues who do not have individual coach access.
Immediately report any suspected unauthorized access, security breach, or misuse of athlete data to Showcase Athlete.
Refrain from downloading or storing athlete content on local devices unless strictly required for recruiting and handled in accordance with institutional privacy practices.

4. Verification & Access Approval

Showcase Athlete reserves the right to:

Independently verify your identity, institutional affiliation, and role in the recruiting process at any time.
Request updated credentials or documentation at any point during your membership.
Deny, restrict, or revoke your access to the Athletes and Coaches Portal if:
- You fail to meet eligibility requirements.
- You violate any part of this agreement.
- You are no longer affiliated with your institution.

Access is granted at the sole discretion of Showcase Athlete and may be suspended without prior notice for any breach or suspected misuse.

5. Code of Conduct

As a registered coach or recruiting representative, you agree to:

Treat all athlete profiles and interactions with professionalism and respect.
Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with your institution’s values, NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA, NWAC, and other governing body regulations.
Refrain from any recruiting activity that:
- Violates contact restrictions or "quiet/dead period" rules.
- Targets ineligible athletes or underage individuals without proper consent.
- Circumvents institutional, conference, or national recruiting standards.
Refrain from deceptive, misleading, or coercive recruiting behavior in all communications initiated through the platform.

Any violation may result in permanent removal from the platform and potential reporting to relevant institutional or legal authorities.

6. Termination of Account

Showcase Athlete reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your coach account without prior notice for any of the following reasons:

Breach of any part of this agreement.
Violation of federal, state, or institutional recruiting policies.
Misuse of athlete data or platform content.
Loss of institutional affiliation or change in employment status.
Any conduct that damages the reputation or functionality of Showcase Athlete.

In the event of termination, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform and delete any materials obtained through Showcase Athlete that are not otherwise authorized for retention by your institution.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Showcase Athlete shall not be liable for any recruiting decisions, miscommunications, missed opportunities, or athlete eligibility issues resulting from your use of the platform.
You acknowledge and agree that Showcase Athlete is a third-party platform providing exposure tools and does not make any guarantees regarding athlete performance, eligibility, or outcomes.
Showcase Athlete is not responsible for the accuracy of athlete-submitted content and does not certify, screen, or verify athlete eligibility or claims.

8. Compliance with Athletic Governing Bodies

You explicitly acknowledge and agree to comply with all applicable recruiting rules, guidelines, and regulations established by:

NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association)
NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics)
NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association)
CCCAA (California Community College Athletic Association)
NWAC (Northwest Athletic Conference)
Any other national, state, or institutional authority governing collegiate athletics.

It is your sole responsibility to understand and operate within your organization’s recruiting compliance guidelines. Showcase Athlete does not provide legal or compliance advice and is not liable for any violations or penalties resulting from your actions.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Showcase Athlete, its owners, partners, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

Your use or misuse of the platform.
Your violation of this Agreement.
Your failure to comply with any applicable laws, regulations, or athletic association policies.

10. Modifications to Agreement

Showcase Athlete may revise this agreement at any time. You will be notified of any material changes, and continued use of the platform after the effective date of any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Acceptance

By creating a coach account or accessing the Athletes and Coaches Portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms of this Coach Membership Agreement in full.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must not register for or use the Showcase Athlete platform.
